My blog is moving, and you can still follow it!

My blog is moving from Blogger.com to Wordpress.com. I just wanted to let whoever is actually reading this that I am moving it.

I'm moving because Bloggers features SUCK! They don't as many features like Wordpress.com.

I am about to shutdown this site in 1 month from now.

Thank You!

Phillies head to Miami to face the Marlins

The first match up is:
Roy Halladay 12-8, 2.21 vs Sean West 0-0, 0.00

I look for the Phillies and Halladay to dominate against Sean West and the Marlins. Sean West from what I've seen he's only been in the minors as a starter. Sean West is 4-3 with a 3.12 ERA.

The second match up is:
Kyle Kendrick 6-4, 4.44 vs Anibal Sanchez 8-6, 3.33

I'm gonna say the Marlins are going to win this, only because Anibal is pitching good and I'm skeptical about Kendrick and his consistency.

The third match up is:
Roy Oswalt 0-1, 6.00 vs Chris Volstad 5-8, 4.71

I'm definitly going for the Phillies to win. Roy Oswalt has gotten himself away from the nerves of pitching with a new team and that bright red shoes. He is going to dominate against the Marlins.

Summary:
Roy Halladay goes 13-8, complete game, no earn runs.
Kyle Kendick goes 6-5, 6 innings, 4 earned runs.
Roy Oswalt goes 1-1, 7 1/3 innings, 2 earned runs.

Fightin' Phils lose Nationals series 2-1

The series started off with Roy Oswalt, the newest edition to the Phillies. He didn't fair to well in his debut. He gave up 6 runs on 6 innings pitched.

Game 1 of 3:
Roy Oswalt Philadelphia Phillies debut. It didn't start off pretty. Roy gave up 3 runs in the first inning. The first pitch was taken out to right center and ended with a Bernadina double. The rest of the game just wasn't looking good. They didn't get a run till a Jayson Werth home run.

Score: 1-8 Nationals.

Final Thoughts: Roy Oswalt just wasn't pitching like his normal self. After the game he did say "The bright red shoes were distracting, im use to the Astros all black shoe."

Game 2 of 3:
Joe Blanton pitched meh. He was okay. The first few innings were god awful. He allowed 4 runs. After that he seemed to settle down. But what really hurt was in the bottom of the ninth. Brad Lidge was on to save the game for the Phillies. There were 2 on with one out, Ryan Zimmerman was up. First pitch, boom out of the yard deep left center.

Final Thoughts: Joe has a bad ERA in away games. It was already a lose before the game even started.

Game 3 of 3:
This game was a great game. It took 11 innings but hey, always in it for a good game. Cole Hamels was a beast out there. 10 K's through 7 innings thats what you call effictive. He gave up 4 earn runs. A bases clearing double, and a home run by Adam Dunn. In the 11th Placido Polanco got Jimmy Rollins in from third with a single, and then Jayson Werth with a double, scored Polanco from first.

Final Thoughts: Cole was dealing out there today. Bullpen was looking good, Brad "7/11" Lidge (things that never close) got the save.
